rising sun

a respect slightly contradictory
it colours my being with grief
that you who were great
are drowning in your own fate
in retribution you suffocate
while those you tore apart
watch with glee
how do i reconcile my grief with theirs?

then i started to photo-whore in the car
like everyone else who sits in the passenger seat of the car nowadays.hurhur.

amazing works 'cept my purchases almost got blown away

then i almost got blown away in antibes.
dad, ure right in this instance, that i have to carry a rock when i go out.

sunday was better.
never knew i loved the sun so much till i came to europe
seeing the sun is like finding a ravioli in your plate of penne
and realising how good it felt to have your pasta stuffed with meat
ok, whatever that means.
it's the lack of a better analogy and the overload of pasta.

so we were in cannes and loving the sun

then we headed to monaco where we tried to act rich but of course
we were only driving a smart car amidst all the ferraris and aston martins

in fush's words "whoa, ferrari here like giordano"

so of course, to set themselves apart, they need to have yachts.

florence 06/10-08/10

alora, this is florence from the top of the cupola designed by brunelleschi in 1420
this is the duomo,which many claim to be italy's best

then we were at the top of the cupola,resting from the 493 steps that we had to climb

posing as statues

because there were so many of them lying(standing?) around.
i also suspect they put up these fake davids so that when we see the real david,
we'll realise how remarkable michaelangelo(or in lyd's words, michaelangelo & team) was.
