alora, this is florence from the top of the cupola designed by brunelleschi in 1420
this is the duomo,which many claim to be italy's best
then we were at the top of the cupola,resting from the 493 steps that we had to climb
posing as statues
because there were so many of them lying(standing?) around.
i also suspect they put up these fake davids so that when we see the real david,
we'll realise how remarkable michaelangelo(or in lyd's words, michaelangelo & team) was.

anyway, it's allora and that Duomo is usually refered as piazza del fiore, or the more appropriate long name is Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore.
i still prefer milan's duomo though :p
walau!italian society lesson through blogspot..not bad.haha, i like milan duomo too.more goth.hurhur.
