barcelona & figueres 21/11-27/11

so we were in barcelona for 6 days cuz we thot, since we're putting up with friends and spain is supposedly one of the cheaper places to go in europe,we might as well stay longer.wrong.it was equally,if not more expensive than italy.there were no 5euros pizze or panini (using the correct italian plural form here),only 18euros paella so we had KFC,twice (dont be too jealous rohps).so here is barcelona in brief...

yes, we did go to the barcelona vs recreativo match (3-0) of which i missed two goals.and the only reason i caught the last one was cuz it was a penalty kick by messi.this is a typical example of don't bring ur kids to disneyland when they'll be too young to remember.
ok whatever that means.

ok, the reason this post is entitled barcelona AND figueres is because figueres is NOT in barcelona.it was a miserable two hour train ride away of which we were not equipped for, so it was a you-stare-at-me-i-stare-at-you affair.but it was worth it.

so barcelona was great,and it was made better by our amazing hosts stella,alvin & rita who left their whole apartment to us : ) thanks guys!get drunk on limoncello!
